St. Francis (Pa) slips past Duquesne 26-16

LORETTO, Pa. (AP) DaQuan Minter returned an interception for the go-ahead score and Lance Geesey kicked four field goals to lift St. Francis (Pa) to a 26-16 win over Duquesne on Saturday.

St. Francis (4-5, 2-2 Northeast Conference) trailed most of the game but took the lead in the fourth quarter when Minter picked off a pass from Duquesne's Ryan Egolf and returned it 28 yards for a touchdown to make it 16-10. Geesey padded the lead a few minutes later with a 43-yard field goal and then Zach Drayer, who was 12 of 21 for 123 yards and an interception, ran in a TD from the 18 with just 1:48 to go.

Khairi Dickson, who last week was held under 100 yards for the first time this season, had 138 yards on 29 carries for the Red Flash.

Egolf finished 22-for-42 on 200 yards passing with two touchdowns for Duquesne (5-4, 1-2).
