St. Francis (Pa.) tallied 304 rushing yards on 61 carries in the Red Flash's 27-13 win over Central Connecticut State on Saturday.
Kyle Harbridge carried the load for the Red Flash, carrying the ball 41 times for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Harbridge scored from 10 yards out in the first quarter, then again from 2 yards out to give St. Francis (2-7, 1-5 Northeast Conference) a 21-0 lead with 14:53 left in the second quarter.
Harbridge, who entered the game with 1,041 yards on the season, recorded his third consecutive 100-yard game of the season. He is currently 102 yards from breaking the St. Francis single-season rushing record and two touchdowns short of the Red Flash single-season rushing touchdown record.
Central Connecticut State (2-7, 1-5) did not score until Brian Fowler's 11-yard run in the third quarter.
The win snaps a 5-game losing streak for St. Francis.
