Speed-demon Grant Holloway commits to Florida

The Southeast region of the United States is chock-full of elite athletes, with Virginia being no exception.

Hailing from the Chesapeake area, Rivals.com 4-star Grant Holloway decided to take his talents -- and world-class speed -- down to Gainesville. The 6'2" receiver committed to Florida on Thursday over offers from a host of schools, including rivals Georgia and LSU.

While Gator fans may be excited to see Holloway excite on the football field, he will instead come to Florida as a track athlete. Reputed as one of the top long-jumpers in the entire country, his goal is to one day eventually become an Olympian.

With Holloway's considerable athleticism and skill on the football field, it wouldn't be a shock to see head coach Jim McElwain try and lure Holloway to the gridiron in some capacity.
