South Carolina 'has a lot of confidence right now offensively,' according to Orth

Ahead of this weekend's game at Tennessee, South Carolina signal-caller Perry Orth is brimming with confidence.
Although the Gamecocks lost a tough game to Texas A&M last weekend, there were signs which indicated a bit of a revival when it comes to their offensive efforts. Not only did Orth manage the game well, but running back Brandon Wilds impacted greatly with his ability to run the football. Being healthy is an obvious key for this team.
"It's good to have everyone back, these are my buddies," said Orth. "[We are] pushing each other and helping everybody get better."
As was the case last week, the Gamecocks are the prohibitive underdogs in this contest. There aren't a ton of people expecting them to win this week on the road. Regardless, Orth isn't concerned about what may or may not happen.
"Overall, we [have] a lot of confidence right now offensively, and we're going to try and continue that for the Tennessee game," said Orth. "We'll worry about the other ones when we get there."
The signal-caller also offered a bit of gamesmanship when it comes to the scheme for Tennessee. Butch Jones' team may see some looks that could look a bit different than what its been planning for.
"Over the bye week, we put in a ton of new [wrinkles] to prepare for weeks to come," said Orth. "As we go throughout the week, we'll be ready to roll. Tt's more fun doing different things, just trying out new things to see if they work."
