Source: Key LSU recruiter Austin Thomas set to join USC
LSU director of player personnel Austin Thomas is set to join USC as the Trojans director of player personnel/NFL Research, a source told FOX Sports on Thursday.
Thomas played a key role in helping the Tigers land back-to-back-to-back top 5 signing classes in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
A Tennessee native, Thomas has previously worked for the Trojans when he followed Lane and Monte Kiffin from Tennessee. He remained there for two seasons before taking a job at LSU in recruiting. He was the right-hand man to recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson and was pursued by multiple colleges and NFL organizations in recent weeks.
