Sophomore Kyron Watson will no longer be a part of the Jayhawks football program.

The reserve from East Saint Louis, Illinois played in 15 games during his two years in Lawrence.

Watson earned a four-star rating out of high school from ESPN.com and was a labeled three-star prospect by both Rivals.com and Scout.com. He had offers from California, Cincinnati, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Purdue, Syracuse and TCU, so it will be interesting to see if he chooses to attend one of the schools that had previously shown interest in him.
