Shepard gets father's ring

Published Dec. 21, 2015 11:19 a.m. ET

Sterling Shepard just received a national championship ring.

Not from this season, but from his father's team, which won the 1985 title at Oklahoma.

Derrick Shepard died in 1999 and was a receiver on the title team that beat Penn State in the Orange Bowl.
