Several Tigers players named to preseason watch lists

LSU's Leonard Fournette, Jalen Mills and Kendell Beckwith are all expected to have big seasons in 2015. That assertion was reaffirmed this week with the release of the preseason award watch lists, where all three players were recognized.

Fournette, a freshman phenom in 2014 who came to LSU as the No. 1 recruit in the country, was named as a candidate for the Maxwell Award, which is awarded annually to the best player in the nation. Beckwith and Mills both were placed on the watch list for the Bednarik, which is awarded to the nation's best defensive player.

That wasn't all for the Tigers, however. Punter Jamie Keehn was named to the watch list for the Ray Guy Award, given to the best punter in the nation.
