Accused child molester Jerry Sandusky posted bail Thursday, one day after new sexual abuse charges landed the former Penn State assistant coach behind bars.

Sandusky was arrested Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office following the release of a new grand jury report detailing the alleged abuse of two new victims.

According to WTXF-TV, Sandusky used personal real estate holdings to come up with $200,000, while his wife, Dottie, secured a $50,000 certified check to amass the $250,000 necessary for his release.

Sandusky will be subject to electronic monitoring and home confinement as a stipulation of his release.

The 67-year-old is accused of molesting 10 boys over a 15-year period. He has maintained his innocence.

The latest charges stemmed from grand jury testimony from two additional young men, identified as Victim 9 and Victim 10, who claim to have met Sandusky through The Second Mile, the children's charity founded by Sandusky in 1977 to help disadvantaged children.

The scandal engulfed the Penn State community and led to the firing of longtime football coach Joe Paterno and university president Graham Spanier. Penn State athletic director Tim Curley and vice president for finance and business Gary Schultz have both been charged with perjury and failure to report suspected child abuse.

The Second Mile also has been hit hard by the allegations. The charity announced Wednesday it would be forced to reduce its staff due to lost financial support brought on by the scandal.
