Tim Flanders ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns and Sam Houston State completed an undefeated regular season with a 36-14 victory over Texas State Saturday.

The Bearkats (11-0) roared to a 17-0 lead as Flanders ran 32 yards for a touchdown and Brian Bell threw a 28-yard touchdown pass to Torrance Williams. Texas State got within 17-14 when Tyler Ardnt threw two TD passes, but the Bearkats kept the Bobcats off the scoreboard after that.

It was Flanders' sixth 100-yard rushing game of the season, and he has scored 20 touchdowns.

Sam Houston State, the Southland Conference champion, begins the FCS playoffs next week. Pairings will be announced on Sunday.
