Sacred Heart 34, Columbia 25
Tim Little threw for three touchdowns and ran for another to lead Sacred Heart over Columbia 34-25 on Saturday.
The first of the three scores was a 28-yard pass to Rich Rossi to tie it at 13 with 47 seconds left in the first half.
Little opened the second half scoring on a 1-yard run early in the third quarter. He added a 27-yard pass to Garry Coles midway through the third quarter, and finished off Sacred Heart's scoring with a 12-yard TD to Rossi for a 34-19 lead with 9:33 remaining.
The Sacred Heart (3-2) quarterback was 33 of 48 for 371 yards, throwing to Rossi five times for 93 yards.
Sean Bracket led Columbia (0-4) with two touchdowns and 171 yards on 14 of 29 passing, and another 96 yards on 16 carries. The Lions have now lost five straight dating back to last season.
