Saban back on recruiting trail a day after National Championship win

Nick Saban deserves a day off.

After all, Alabama's head coach just won his fifth National Championship title. One would expect the iconic figure to spend some time with his family, and decompress from the long college football season.

Instead, Saban got right back to what he excels in...the game of football.

On Tuesday -- a day after beating Clemson for his fourth national title with the Crimson Tide -- Saban made a recruiting call to elite 2016 linebacker prospect Lyndell "Mack" Wilson.

The Montgomery native is regarded as a 5-star linebacker by virtually every recruiting service. A terror off the edge, he's been the focus of every major program in the Southeastern region of the country for over a year.

Alabama surely figures to be a strong contender for Wilson's services,  especially considering the potential recruiting pitch Saban would relay -- starting with his collection of championship rings and his long proclivity for churning out players to the NFL on an annual basis.
