(STATS) - Robert Morris will play two night home games for the first time in program history during an 11-game 2016 schedule which was announced Monday.

Both games will be against Division II opponents, Alderson Broaddus in the season opener Sept. 1 and Malone on Sept. 24.

The Colonials' other three home games are within the Northeast Conference against Saint Francis (Oct. 8, Homecoming), Central Connecticut State (Oct. 29) and Wagner (Nov. 12).

RMU's road schedule is more challenging. The Colonials will face Dayton (Sept. 10), Youngstown State (Sept. 17) and Liberty (Oct. 1) out of conference and NEC opponents Duquesne (Oct. 15), Sacred Heart (Oct. 22) and Bryant (Nov. 5). Dayton and Duquesne played in the 2015 FCS playoffs.
