Report: Three FSU players listed as potential witnesses in Cook case
On Friday it was revealed that three Florida state football players have been listed as potential witness in the case of misdemeanor battery against FSU running back Dalvin Cook.
Cook, who rushed for over 1,000 yards last season, is being accused of striking a woman outside of a bar in Tallahassee and was suspended from the team indefinitely. Cook, a sophomore, has disputed the charges.
According to the Orlando Sentinel’s Branden Sannone, Florida state players Da'Vante Phillips, Deondre Francois and Travis Rudolph can all be called upon to be witnesses.
Sannone also reported that jury selection began on Friday and that the trial should begin and end on Monday.
