Report: Notre Dame transfer QB Everett Golson visited Florida Gators

Add yet another list to Everett Golson's suitor list, as the former Notre Dame quarterback has reportedly visited with the Florida Gators on Tuesday, according to Sports Illustrated.

The Gators are currently undergoing a quarterback competition of their own between sophomore Treon Harris and redshirt freshman Will Grier.

With neither player completely separating himself from the other in the spring, the Gators' starting spot is still up for grabs. Golson's experience on the field would appear to be an ideal option over the less experienced choices currently on the Gators' roster.

Don't expect a decision anytime soon, as the article states: "A source said the timeline for Golson’s decision remains open. He would like to visit several other schools before he chooses a destination."
