Report: Marcus Lattimore to join Will Muschamp's coaching staff
South Carolina fans, get ready to see a familiar face setting up shop around Columbia.
Former star running Marcus Lattimore is making a return to the program -- this time as a coach under Will Muschamp's new regime.
Via a report from The State, Lattimore is slated to officially join the staff this upcoming May. Although he won't be a position coach, Lattimore's role essentially will be as the team's speaker -- discussing life outside of football, as well as focusing on leadership skills.

A gruesome leg injury effectively ended Lattimore's hopes of playing in the NFL. Although he was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2013, Lattimore ultimately retired from the game a year later.
