Pitt gains commitment from junior college wide receiver

Pittsburgh's 2015 recruiting class grew by one over the weekend, as junior college wide receiver Rafael Araujo-Lopes gave his commitment to play for the Panthers, Sam Werner of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

Araujo-Lopes last played at Reedley (Calif.) College, where his production reached 74 catches for 1,229 yards and 17 touchdowns during the 2014 season. The pass-catcher fits best with the Panthers as a slot receiver, Werner projects.

Returning All-ACC performer Tyler Boyd will benefit from another player emerging as a viable target in the passing game, and Araujo-Lopes is eligible to make an immediate impact.
