Andrew Pierce led a dominating Delaware rushing attack that amassed 373 yards as the Blue Hens beat Jacksonville 51-35 on Thursday night.

Pierce carried the ball 16 times for 101 yards, but the Blue Hens had success no matter who got the handoff, with backs at times running freely through the defense. Julian Laing ran for 97 yards and freshman Jalen Randolph added 87, including his first career TD on a 1-yard run late in the third quarter.

Jacksonville's running attack was a no-show with the Dolphins tallying minus 37 yards. Coach Kerwin Bell relied heavily on his quarterback and son, Kade Bell, who completed 18 of 34 passes for 261 yards with 4 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Dave Brock won his coaching debut at Delaware and ended the program's four-game losing streak, its longest since 1967.
