Pelini: Arkansas speculation 'ludicrous'
Bo Pelini says he's happy at Nebraska and that it's ''ludicrous'' his name is being connected to the coaching vacancy at Arkansas.
Pelini is among several coaches who have been mentioned in media speculation about possible replacements for Bobby Petrino, who was fired Tuesday for failing to disclose his relationship with a 25-year-old former Razorbacks volleyball player he hired last month without disclosing his conflict of interest or the fact he had once paid her $20,000.
Pelini said Wednesday he believes Nebraska is a ''destination job'' and that he's concentrating on winning a championship with the Cornhuskers and having the best possible team this fall.
Pelini was defensive coordinator in the Southeastern Conference at LSU before Nebraska hired him in 2008. He's 38-16 in four seasons.
