Oregon WR throws ball into air before crossing goal line
Oregon wide receiver Pharaoh Brown had a huge game Saturday to help the Ducks snap a five-game losing streak with 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns, but he was fortunate to get away with a fumble while prematurely celebrating a 72-yard TD.
Brown delivered a huge stiff arm to beat the last Arizona State defender - but as he was about to cross into the endzone, Brown tossed the ball up in the air.
A closer look at the play in slow-motion shows that Brown hadn't scored yet, but the referee didn't notice and the ruling on the field was a touchdown.
It's astounding that players continue to make this same mistake when it's happened multiple times in huge games in 2016 alone.
