Oregon unveils lime-green helmets

It wouldn't be a college football offseason without the Internet exploding over new Oregon football helmets and uniforms. Well, brace yourselves because the Ducks are taking their exotic looks to a whole new level this fall.

The picture below was tweeted by recruit Brady Bergan, a multipurpose player in the Class of 2015 from Cresco, Iowa:

The helmets also appear in a video produced by Oregon students in a sports media class previewing the 2013 season under new head coach Mark Helfrich entitled "Change":

We've already seen the black, green and yellow versions of Oregon's widely-popular "liquid metal" helmet, but the lime green versions — one with a lime green background and chrome wings and another with an inverted look — might be the best so far.

We could go without the black in the middle of the facemask, but are sure Oregon players and recruits will lose their minds when they get to put these lids on for the first time. Grade: A
