It has been a season where players have had to step up and in for injuries and that trend continues for the 2016 Oregon Ducks. Starting Linebacker Johnny Ragin injured at Washington State is done for the rest of the season. He was taken off the field on a cart He suffered a significant leg injury according to the Register Guard in Eugene.
Ragin was the heart of the Oregon Defense early this season. He was a leader for the younger players to learn from in both practice and game situations. Ragin led the team with 29 tackles in four games .Troy Dye who has been somewhat limited in games this season playing on Defense in Oregon’s Home games along with Tyree Robinson are tied for 2nd on the team in tackles with 27 each. A.J. Hotchkins will likely fall into Ragin’s spot with some added playing time.
Growing up fast is not a high point for the Oregon Ducks Defense this season but now they don’t have a choice. With Washington coming to Eugene this week it could end up being a rough evening on Saturday for a young Oregon Defense
Thank you for all the well wishes. God has a plan and everything will work out. Blessed to be a part of this brotherhood. #GoDucks 🐤
