Oklahoma State RB Tyreek Hill, whose performance vs. Oklahoma helped the Cowboys win last week's Bedlam game 38-35, was arrested Thursday night on charges of assaulting his girlfriend.

According to a Stillwater, Okla. police report available online, Hill allegedly got into an argument with his girlfriend that escalated into a fight. Hill's girlfriend told police that he struck her in the face and choked her. Hill was then contacted at his residence and arrested "based on probable cause for domestic abuse by strangulation."

Oklahoma State finishes its season Jan. 2 in the Cactus Bowl vs. Washington, and this arrest leaves Hill's status for the game up in the air. Hill, a second-team All-Big 12 selection as a kick/punt returner, scored on a 92-yard punt return vs. Oklahoma that tied the game and forced overtime.
