WACO, Texas (AP) The Big 12 opener for Oklahoma State and Baylor is in a lightning delay after the 16th-ranked Bears scored on the first series of the game Saturday night.

After a 23-yard touchdown run by Terence Williams, the game was delayed before Baylor's point-after attempt. The teams left the field, and fans were instructed to take cover with the Bears leading 6-0 with 13:22 left in the first quarter.

Lightning could be seen east of McLane Stadium, the campus facility on the banks of the Brazos River. But it wasn't raining when the 30-minute delay was called.

The Cowboys had a nearly two-hour weather delay early in the fourth quarter last week in a 45-38 home victory over Pittsburgh.
