Oklahoma RB Perine returns after injury to eat up Tulsa

Samaje Perine, who rushed for a Big 12-best 1,713 yards last year, got off to a slow start this season.
Saturday in Oklahoma's 52-31 win over Tulsa, it appeared Perine was hurt. He left the field, after fumbling in the second quarter, and headed to the locker room holding his wrist.
He returned to the sidelines one series later. Perine's right hand and wrist were heavily taped. Perine did not get back into the game in the first half.
He did, however, return after halftime ... in a big way.
Perine, who came into the game averaging 3.3 yards per carry on 34 attempts through two games, pounded the Golden Hurricane in the second half.
Perine finished the day with 22 carries for 152 yards and a touchdown run as he ground up the Golden Hurricane as the Sooners improved to 3-0 on the season.
