INDIANAPOLIS (AP) Ohio State receiver Corey Smith has been ejected from the Big Ten championship game for targeting.

Smith was called for the foul after he threw a big block on Wisconsin linebacker Joe Schobert with 3:53 left in the first half Saturday night.

The foul occurred on a run by quarterback Cardale Jones, who made his first career start. The officials immediately threw a flag but went to a replay review before announcing the ejection.

It was about the only thing that went wrong for the sixth-ranked Buckeyes, who scored on five of their first six possession to take 31-0 lead.
