OC Frost on Ducks QB situation: 'I don't know' who our No. 1 QB is

The Ducks feel confident about the fact that, when healthy, Vernon Adams Jr. is the starting quarterback. However, as this week's game approaches versus Washington State, offensive coordinator Scott Frost does not know who will start for the Ducks.
“We’ve got to see how close Vernon is and when he’s going to be back healthy,” Frost said, according to The Register-Guard. “If he’s not ready to go, then those two guys have another game of experience under their belt.”
Both Jeff Lockie and Taylor Alie played significant time for the Ducks in the 41-24 win over Colorado last Saturday. While both managed to help the Ducks get the win, neither was impressive.
As for naming a starter this week, Frost said that he does not know the depth chart at QB right now.
“I don’t know who number one, two and three is right now,” Frost said. “We’ll have to find out as the week progresses here.”
