Notre Dame won't conduct any 'satellite camps' this summer

There's a growing trend in college football, causing coaches to stray away from home.

They're called "satellite camps," and they require entire coaching staffs to travel to a recruiting hotbed, where they then host a summer camp for prospective athletes. Notre Dame won't be taking part in any such thing this year, according to J.J. Stankevitz of CSN Chicago.

"It will all be here," Kelly told Stankevitz, promising that his Fighting Irish won't be wandering off this summer. "Everything is going to be done here."

This debunks a report from last year that Notre Dame had plans to hold a joint camp with Georgia State in the summer of 2015.

Some territorial SEC schools must be relieved.
