Northern Arizona takes down North Dakota 48-27

Zach Bauman rushed for 162 yards and a touchdown, helping Northern Arizona to a 48-27 win over North Dakota on Saturday night.

Northern Arizona (7-2, 5-1 Big Sky Conference) extended its winning streak to four games and remains third in the conference standings.

The Lumberjacks built a 14-0 lead before Ryan Bartels connected with Kenny Golladay for a pair of touchdown passes in the second quarter for North Dakota (2-7, 1-5). Northern Arizona then scored 20 unanswered points en route to the victory.

Jordan Perry's 2-yard touchdown run gave the Lumberjacks a 28-14 halftime lead, and a pair of third quarter field goals followed by a fourth quarter touchdown gave Northern Arizona a 41-14 advantage.

Casey Jahn complimented Bauman's effort with 106 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Lumberjacks.

Bartels had 367 yards passing and four touchdowns to lead North Dakota.
