North Dakota routs Black Hills State 53-19

North Dakota cruised to a 53-19 victory over Black Hills State Saturday in the annual Potato Bowl USA after scoring 23 unanswered points in the first quarter
North Dakota (2-2) compiled 337 rushing yards along with six ground scores to mount a scoring barrage that proved to be insurmountable for Black Hills State. Jake Miller posted a career high in rushing yards, with 181, for the second consecutive week to go along with two touchdowns. North Dakota passed only 15 times in the game, compared to 53 rushes.
Black Hills State (1-4) finally scored with 35 seconds left in the first half on a 26-yard TD pass from Ward Anderson to Ryan Fagerstrom. Anderson finished with 171 passing yards and a lone touchdown on the day.
