Norfolk State sneaks by Florida A&M 12-10

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Malik Stokes completed an 8-yard, go-ahead touchdown pass to Issac White with 6:20 remaining, and the Norfolk State defense stopped Damien Fleming on fourth-and-goal to give the Spartans a 12-10 win over Florida A&M on Saturday.

White finished with four catches for 37 yards. Aaron Daniels rushed 10 times for 79 yards, and Terrance Ervin added 26 yards on the ground and 41 through the air to lead the Spartans (4-5, 4-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Cameron Marouf also kicked two field goals, including a 47-yarder on the final play of the first half.

Damien Fleming threw for 181 yards and a touchdown to lead Florida A&M (2-7, 2-3), which after trailing 6-0 at halftime, rallied for 10 unanswered points to take a four-point lead deep into the fourth quarter. Tysean Holloway added 45 yards rushing for the Rattlers.
