New Hampshire 39, Massachusetts 13

Quarterback R.J. Toman ran for two touchdowns and threw for another score as New Hampshire beat Massachusetts 39-13 in Colonial Athletic Association action on Saturday.

Toman scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter after the Wildcats (5-3, 3-2) gained possession at the Massachusetts 14-yard line after Nico Steriti recovered a fumbled punt. The Wildcats converted a two-point conversion to take an 8-0 lead.

Dontra Peters scored on a 3-yard run, Toman had a 1-yard touchdown run and completed an 11-yard touchdown pass to Joey Orlando to push the New Hampshire lead to 29-0 with 2:26 left in the third.

The Minutemen (4-2, 2-2) recovered a fumble in the end zone and scored on a 14-yard pass from Kyle Havens to Julian Talley in the fourth quarter to cut their deficit to 36-13.

Peters ended with a game-high 98 yards rushing and two scores for the Wildcats.
