Nebraska coach Bo Pelini says defensive end Eric Martin will play in the Capital One Bowl but face disciplinary action for being ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident.
Pelini said Tuesday that Martin's Dec. 11 ''fender bender'' in a Wal-Mart parking lot in Lincoln was ''no big deal.'' Pelini said Martin would not be allowed to take part in some team activities in Orlando, Fla., before the Jan. 2 game against South Carolina.
Pelini said he would wait a couple more days before deciding whether center Mike Caputo would play. Caputo was cited on suspicion of drunken driving after police found him slumped behind the wheel of a running vehicle in a parking lot Dec. 11. He has not been charged.
