(STATS) - North Dakota State announced Monday its previously scheduled game against Butler in 2019 will be played at Target Field in Minneapolis.

The first meeting between the two schools will be played Aug. 31, 2019 at the home of the Minnesota Twins.

"Bison Nation is well represented in the Twin Cities," NDSU coach Chris Klieman said. "Having this opportunity will be exciting for our team to play in front of our fans in such an incredible venue. It will also aid us in recruiting, as Minneapolis-St. Paul is one of our most prominent recruiting areas."

North Dakota State has won the last five Missouri Valley Football Conference and FCS national titles. Butler plays in the non-scholarship Pioneer Football League.
