Mizzou beefs up offensive line with JUCO signing

In an attempt to shore up some deficiencies along the offensive line, Missouri made a gigantic move on Wednesday -- signing junior college offensive lineman Tyler Howell.
Speaking of gigantic, the Rivals.com 3-star athlete registers at 6'9", 305 pounds. He chose to come to Columbia over heavy interest from Arkansas, Arizona State, Georgia, and Penn State.
This addition is significant on a number of levels. For one, Missouri loses multiple players (Taylor Chappell, Brad McNulty, Evan Boehm, Connor McGovern, Mitch Hall) from the group up front. Secondly, the Tigers struggled immensely in regards to running the football -- accruing a paltry yards-per-carry average on the season of 3.5.
