Mississippi St. gets into bus crash after Egg Bowl loss to Ole Miss
Part of the Mississippi State football team was involved in a bus crash after leaving Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, where the No. 4 Bulldogs were defeated 31-17 by Ole Miss on Saturday.
However, school spokesman Bill Martin told USA Today that it was "nothing serious." He explained through text message that "one of the bus drivers was shaken up," but "everyone else is fine."
USA Today reports that one bus rear-ended another.
"Yes, we were involved in accident with buses on highway but no need to panic," Martin's Twitter message read. "Everyone is ok. Just getting some to another bus now."
He then gave an quick update via social media about an hour later:
"Got a new bus and we are now on the way back to Starkville with the other buses. Everyone ok."
