Middle Tennessee 38, FAU 14
Logan Kilgore threw three touchdown passes and Middle Tennessee defeated Florida Atlantic 38-14 on Saturday night.
Kilgore started the game by completing 19 straight passes, including three touchdowns, to eclipse the previous school record of 15 set by Wes Counts in 2001. Kilgore tossed touchdown passes to Malcolm Beyah, Shane Blissard, and Andrew Banks to give the Blue Raiders a 21-0 lead with 3:17 left in the first quarter.
Florida Atlantic (0-7, 0-4 Sun Belt Conference) lost its 10th consecutive game dating back to last season.
The Owls scored their first points in their new stadium in the second quarter on a 5-yard touchdown pass from Graham Wilbert to Darian Williams. Florida Atlantic was shut out in its inaugural home game last week by Western Kentucky 20-0.
The Blue Raiders (2-4,1-2) added a 32-yard field goal by Alan Gendreau and a 29-yard touchdown run by William Pratcher in the third.
