Michigan wide receiver Darryl Stonum will spend the next 10 days in jail after violating probation in a drunken-driving case.

A district court judge in Ann Arbor sentenced Stonum on Friday, sending him to the Washtenaw County jail. His probation officer filed the violation Thursday, when Stonum was pulled over and driving with a revoked license.

Stonum was sentenced to two years of probation in June for operating a vehicle while visibly impaired. He was also jailed last summer for violating probation following 2008 charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license.

He has one year of eligibility after being redshirted. Coach Brady Hoke said Thursday that Stonum was still on the team.
