Michigan State has decided not to renew the contract of defensive line coach Ted Gill.

Gill started his coaching career at Idaho State, where he played. He went on to be an assistant with Utah, New Mexico State, Ball State, Cornell, Army, North Carolina, Rice, Iowa, Oklahoma State, the NFL's Carolina Panthers, XFL's Los Angeles Extreme and the CFL's Montreal Alouettes.
