Michigan-Notre Dame gets best NBC rating since '06

This year's Michigan-Notre Dame game was the highest-rated Irish game on NBC in four years.

The Wolverines' 28-24 win Saturday in Brian Kelly's second game as Notre Dame coach drew a 4.5 rating and 10 share. That's the highest since a 4.7/11 for the No. 4 Irish's 41-17 win over No. 19 Penn State on Sept. 9, 2006.

It was the best for a Michigan-Notre Dame game on NBC since 2002.

Ratings represent the percentage of all homes with televisions tuned into a program. Shares represent the percentage of all homes with TVs in use at the time.
