Recruits pick a college for any number of reasons every year. Why did Michael Jordan, a four-star offensive line prospect from Canton (Mich.) Plymouth commit to Ohio State last week?
Jordan told the Detroit Free Press the deciding factor over offers from his home-state schools was academics.
More specifically: only Ohio State offers a combination of major and minor (international business and Chinese) not available at Michigan or Michigan State. Each school offers one but not the other while Ohio State has both.
