Miami vs NC State Live Stream: Watch Hurricanes vs Wolfpack Online
Find out how to stream this interdivisional ACC matchup between the Miami Hurricanes (6-4, 3-3 ACC) and the NC State Wolfpack (5-5, 2-4) .
While these teams entered the year with drastically different expectations, in actuality they have been virtually the same team. Both teams have seen their seasons marred by four-game losing streaks. Both lost in heartbreaking fashion on their home fields to Florida State. NC State leads Miami in offensive and defensive yards per game by less than three and nine yards per game, respectively. Both will look back after the season and think what might have been if a few bounces go different ways. One more so than the other, if the Wolfpack fail to get bowl eligible like the Hurricanes have.
Miami opened the season with a four-game winning streak that had many fans in South Florida asking if “The U” was back. A loss to rival Florida State and three more in a row and those questions were silenced and recognized as ridiculous. The Canes rebounded with blowout wins over Pittsburgh and Virginia. Junior quarterback Brad Kaaya continued his befuddling year. He had his best game of the season against Pittsburgh throwing for 356 yards and four touchdowns with a 68.1 completion percentage. Against a bad UVA passing defense (110th nationally), Kaaya only completed 14 of 29 passes and was intercepted for the seventh time this season.
It must be exhaustingly frustrating being an NC State fan. The Wolfpack snapped their four-game losing streak filled with one-score losses last week with a decisive 35-20 win at Syracuse. Sophomore transfer Ryan Finley threw for a season-high 340 yards. Senior running back Matthew Dayes ran for 108 yards and exploded for three touchdowns, his first touchdown since Oct. 15.
