Miami QB recruit Toddy Centeio decommits from Hurricanes

Three-star dual-threat class of 2017 quarterback Todd Centeio has decommited from Miami and is leaving his college options open.

The Dwyer High (Fla.) QB pledged to Miami during his freshman year, but announced that he has reopened his recruitment via Twitter on Friday.

According to the Sun Sentinel, Centeio tweeted the following:  "I have decided to open my recruitment back up and decommit from Miami. I love Miami but my family and I believe this is the best decision for my future right now.”

According to Rivals, the 6-1, 185-pound passer has offers from Nebraska, N.C. State, Cincinnati, Temple, Western Kentucky and South Florida.
