The winless Zips (0-11, 0-7 Mid-American Conference) drove inside the Miami 20 late in the fourth quarter but Jordan Gafford recovered Jeremy LaFrance's fumble at the 13 and the RedHawks (7-4, 6-1) ran out the clock from there.

Alex Allen finished with 126 yards rushing for the Zips, including a career-long 91-yard scamper that made it 14-10 with 14:36 left in the third.
Cook was 4 for 5 on the night, connecting from 22, 25, 27 and 32 yards. He had a 26-yarder blocked early in the fourth.
