Maryland promotes Bradford to def. coordinator

New Maryland coach Randy Edsall completed his staff by promoting assistant Todd Bradford to defensive coordinator and hiring Keith Dudzinski to coach inside linebackers.

The moves were announced Wednesday.

Bradford was hired away from Southern Mississippi by Edsall last month to coach inside linebackers. He was defensive coordinator and secondary coach at Southern Miss the past three seasons.

Dudzinski was defensive coordinator at Massachusetts the last seven years.
