Tevin King ran for 182 yards and Louisiana Tech pulled away from Lamar with a pair of late scores for a 27-14 win on Saturday night.

Louisiana Tech built a two-score lead for the first time late in the third quarter on a 44-yard field goal from Kyle Fischer to go up 17-14.

The Cardinals responded with a 62-yard touchdown pass from Caleb Berry to Jordan Edwards to come within three points early in the fourth quarter.
