Louisiana-Lafayette edges Louisiana-Monroe 34-27

MONROE, La. (AP) Terrance Broadway threw for two touchdowns and ran for another to keep Louisiana-Lafayette unbeaten in the Sun Belt Conference with its sixth straight win, 34-27 over Louisiana-Monroe on Saturday night.

Gabe Fuselier took a shovel pass and skirted the sideline to score on a 36-yard play with 2:53 remaining for the Ragin' Cajuns' final points.

Rashon Ceaser snared a 45-yard pass from Pete Thomas to get ULM within the final margin with 1:47 left. The Warhawks (3-7, 2-4) had a final possession but fumbled away their last chance.

Broadway was 11-of-14 passing for 174 yards and collected 94 yards rushing. Alonzo Harris added 133 yards on 13 carries.

Thomas was 38 of 54 for a career-high 472 yards passing and two touchdowns. The Warhawks lost 39 yards on the ground.

The Cajuns (7-3, 6-0) have two conference games remaining. Georgia Southern (7-0) has one. The two don't play each other.
