CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) Virginia football coach Mike London has filled the two vacancies on his staff.

London says he hired Dave Borbely as offensive line coach and Chris Beatty as running backs coach. He also says Larry Lewis will switch from coaching running backs to tight ends.

The vacancies were created when Tom O'Brien retired and Scott Wachenheim became the head coach at Virginia Military Institute.

Borbely was at Virginia from 2006-09 as the running game coordinator and offensive line coach. He spent four years after that as offensive line coach at Louisville and last year in that role at Division II national champion Colorado State-Pueblo.

Beatty has worked as an offensive assistant at Wisconsin, Illinois, Vanderbilt, West Virginia and Northern Illinois. He spent the last two seasons coaching wide receivers at Wisconsin.
