Williams is from Roswell High in Roswell, Ga which is the same school that produced current Clemson freshman linebacker, Tre Lamar.  The 6’0 180 pound cornerback committed to the Tigers on February 22nd over Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Florida and several other schools.

Last season, Roswell was 14-1, defeated Grayson High who was led by fellow 2017 Clemson commit Chase Brice , and eventually lost to Colquitt in the AAAAAA state championship finals.

Williams had 40 tackles, three interceptions, 1 pass deflection, and a block punt for the season. He accumulated those stats despite the ball being thrown in his direction only 23 times in 15 games. He was named to the AAAAAA defensive 1st team and teammate Lamar was the Defensive Player of the Year.

What makes Williams such a coveted cover corner?

With Roswell 8-0 and headed towards the state playoffs again, his has stats of 29 tackles, 3 ints, 3 pass deflections, and one fumble recovery. Williams hasn’t been invited to play in any of the prestigious All Star senior bowl games yet, but he is in the running for the last two roster spots for the UnderArmour All-Star game.

If he makes the roster, then he will be joining teammate Xavier McKinney, and future teammates Tee Higgins(Oak Ridge, TN), Amari Rodgers(Catholic High, TN), A.J. Terrell(Westlake High, GA), and Matt Bockhorst(Saint Xavier High, OH).

Williams wants to be an UnderArmour All-Star, a state champion, and to excel as a student athlete. With hard work he will achieve all three, but he may need a little extra help from his future Clemson fans to achieve one of them. Vote!!!!!
