Lampkin's eligibility still in question

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said freshman defensive tackle Du'Vonta Lampkin still hasn't been released from his National Letter of Intent he signed at Texas.
Lampkin was denied admission to Texas after it was learned he didn’t qualify because he was short a foreign language requirement. Once he was denied admission to Texas, Lampkin said he was going to go to another school. Stoops said Monday Lampkin has not been released by Texas.
"I've had a policy here – and I'm not saying anything about Texas, because I like Charlie (Strong) a lot," Stoops said. "Everybody has their reasonings. I've released everybody full for going on 17 years, no matter where they've gone."
Lampkin originally committed to the Sooners in 2013. He de-committed in the summer of 2014 and singed with Texas.
